On a spirited weekend afternoon, I chose the scope to meet some women achievers who were a blend of joy and amusement. The day unfolded beautifully with a lot of chats with new faces, knowing them and the part of their lives, drinks, and food. The meet helped me in so many ways, however, the one which must be mentioned first is our own Christmas celebration.
It all started with a lovely introduction session where each one of us shared our work experiences, likes, and interests, a good way to know each other and a few of us made it so much fun. We all connect once we know where we are coming from and vice versa. After all, communication is the key to human connection.
I managed to move out of my cocoon after a long time to go out on such meets and mingle with people after covid grounded us all. I was proud to break free from my comfort zone and move out to try something new. After this experience, I can suggest that it feels like an achievement to do so, and everyone should give it a chance.
Knowing the amazing women made me realize, how many roles we women play and are proficient in, please pat your back. What I learned is just be yourself and be unique, because no platform is good enough to judge you anyway.
I observed how open-minded everyone was to each other and was all ears to learn about each other. This stole my heart, as such an environment opens you even more about yourself. I enjoyed sharing my experiences and learning about life. I learned if you care to listen, you learn a lot more about people.
The four hours of madness and insane laughter ended with secret Santa gifts. Oh yes! We got gifts for each other and honestly, it was for the first time that I was gifting something on Christmas to a total stranger, isn’t that exciting? Yes, it was, and I am glad I did it, as it felt amazing sharing gifts. I learned to be humble and kind once again in life. By the way, I got a beautiful gift from my secret Santa, they are handmade earrings.
I have managed to enjoy all this because I made the wise decision of joining a club. Thanks, Leap.club for arranging such meets and helping me in so many ways that you can’t even imagine. It worked as a mindset transformation for me. Merry Christmas everyone in advance and enjoy the pictures.
